I saw an add in a local shopper about some items for sale from a butcher shop that was going out of business. I thought this table had some character. It was the last one they had and was previously used as a place to cut fat off the meat before it was ground into burger.
The bottom shelf was in bad condition so it was scraped. I soda blasted the steel frame and painted it white. The stainless top was buffed with a polishing compound and I bought a butcher block to replace the bottom shelf.
